The Mosquito team being presented with the prestigious 'Best Small Agency' award.
Digital branding agency Mosquito firmly placed themselves on the marketing map at last night's Northern Marketing Awards, being nominated for four awards and winning two; including the coveted and hotly contested "Best Small Agency of the Year" prize. The judges acknowledged the breadth of services and creative excellence within the compact team and were impressed by the expansion of the Mosquito offering not only outside the region but to several South East Asian markets over the last year.
The awards ceremony, organised by Prolific North and presented by broadcaster Andy Crane, saw the largest single gathering of senior marketers and agencies in the North with around 300 guests attending.
The judging panel made up of senior clients, marketers and industry experts also awarded Mosquito first place for the Best Consumer Durable Campaign; the advertiser funded and digitally integrated 12 part Sky TV series "Show Me Your Wardrobe" for client Collection Cosmetics. The agency was also shortlisted for nominations in the "Mobile Marketing' category - for the complex and melodic "Groove India" App for Leeds College of Music - and in the 'Best Use of Social Media' section for their inventive use of Google mapping to showcase the nations' cleaning tips for Yorkshire based Thornton and Ross' Zoflora.

Mosquito, which recently expanded into Manchester's Northern Quarter was originally established in Knutsford in 2010 by Sass and Diver alongside Graham Sass who has added his established creative expertise within FMCG and lifestyle sectors to the rapidly expanding area of visual content creation.
Mosquito clients remain local, northern and national and international projects have recently extended to branding work in Asia and the Middle East.
