APP OF THE YEAR: 2013 NOMINATION

22 April, 2016

PROLIFIC NORTH AWARDS 2013

Mosquito has been shortlisted as a finalist for 'App of the Year 2013' at the Prolific North's annual awards ceremony.

The App 'Groove India' developed for Leeds College of Music was designed to help develop students' musical studies within both theory and performance; through direct m-learning principals.

The key technical approach pushed the Smartphone's capability to sonically reproduce thousands of combinations of musical compositions, whilst at the same time control the tempo  and have full control for the pitch (key) of the musical composition - all of this had to be done using complex transformation algorithms, that processed the audio waves; in real-time.
